Bradley J. Manuel

Bradley John Manuel was born November 16, 1937 in Lacassine, LA to the late Maxille and Elsie Mary Manuel.

He was a graduate of LaGrange High School, class of 1954. He began attending college, majoring in Nursing before he answered the call to serve his country. He enlisted into the United States Army in 1961, serving honorably until 1964.

Following his service he furthered his education, attending the University of Texas where he earned a master’s degree in Nursing. He was very dedicated to his career, serving as a Hospital Administrator for a children’s hospital in Denver, Co., a Veterans Hospital in Houston, even teaching nursing at the University of Texas.

He will best be remembered for the dedication to his craft, but also to his family. He selflessly cared for his mother for over twenty five years.

He was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, May 8, 2022 by his beloved parents and a sisters, Sherry Gardner.

Those left to cherish his memory; two brothers, Bobby Manuel and Samuel Parish Gardner Jr.; two cousins, Janelle Fruge and O.J. Louvier; numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A private inurnment to be held at a later date at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, LA.
