Brandon Corey Shuff

Brandon Corey Shuff, 42, of Moss Bluff passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Eastsound, WA.

Brandon was born on May 15, 1975 in Lake Charles, LA and was raised in Moss Bluff. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and attended McNeese State University. Brandon traveled the country sharing his skills as a chef and playing music. He was often seen traveling with his guitar on his back. He was a voracious reader with extensive knowledge on a wide range of interests.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Ferrell Shuff; a sister, Heidi Shuff Rorabaugh; paternal grandparents, Rev. Dallas and Sadie Shuff all of Moss Bluff; aunts, Sheila Leger of Westlake and Joyce LaLonde (Clarence) of Texas; uncles, Bill Dietz (Theresa) of Texas and Roy Dietz (Nancy) of Eunice; nieces, Danica and Kennedy Rorabaugh; nephew, Landyn Rorabaugh; step father, Robert Glen Bergeron of Moss Bluff; and numerous loving cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melinda Dietz Shuff Bergeron; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Aspz Dietz; aunts, Roxanne Chauffe and Hazel Ortego; and uncles, Hubert and George Dietz.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Glenn Massey will officiate. Burial will follow in Old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Monday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made for outstanding expenses.
