Brandon Keith Craft, 29, of Moss Bluff died on Monday, July 8, 2013 in a local hospital.
Brandon was born on March 16, 1984 in Independence, LA and lived most of his life in Moss Bluff. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School, and attended McNeese State University. Brandon has worked the past ten years as maintenance mechanic for the Army Corp of Engineers, and he was stationed at the Calcasieu Parish Locks. He was a member of Cross Roads Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother, friend, and in his spare time his passion was fishing.
He is survived by his wife Courtney Dartez Craft of Moss Bluff, LA; daughter, Cadence Brianne Craft; parents, Robert Craft and Kathy LeBlanc; brothers, Robby Lee Trahan and wife Ginger of Moss Bluff and Erick Shane Trahan of Topsy; grandparents, Maria Trahan of Topsy and Charles and Brenda Nelson of Moss Bluff; nephews, Carder and Dominick Trahan; parents-in-law, Randy and Sonja Dartez; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fishing buddies.
Brandon is preceded in death by his grandfather Pa-Pap Trahan, his nanny, Lori Marcotte, grandfather, Jerald Craft, and uncle Jerry Craft.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Terry Ardizonne will officiate. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
