Brandon Thomas Odom

Brandon Thomas Odom was born January 6, 1985 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was the youngest son born to Sylvia and Kenneth Ray Odom Sr..

He attended and graduated from Barbe High School, where he was a member and president of the debate team. He was reserved in nature, quiet at times, but his gift of gab and humor brought laughter and smile to many who knew him, including his years as a stand-up comedian. He was employed by Tri-star Management company as a residential HVAC technician.

He and Sharon met over ten years ago, but it was a friendship that blossomed into marriage. Common interests are what brought them together; but it was the strength they found in each other and faith which brought them throughmany tribulations. He was a member of Livingway Pentecostal Church, where he was a member of StartLiving, where he welcomed and mentored new parishioners.

He was welcomed into Heaven by paternal grandparents, Melba and Marvin Odom; her second husband, Ogden Odom, Elfriede Kendrick, Bobbie Jean Van Dyke; and brother in-law, Conner Chaline.

Those left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife of two years, Sharon Chaline Odom; parents, Sylvia and Kenneth Ray Odom, Sr., grandfather, Thomas Kendrick; brothers, Kenneth Jr. and wife Traci Odom, Michael Odom and wife Jennifer; nieces and nephews, Blake, Brett, Kailey, & Lacey; mother in-law Sheila Chaline; father in-law Rockey Chaline and wife Shannon; and brother in-law Caden Chailen.

Family to welcome friends Monday, April 17, 2023 at Livingway Pentecostal Church beginning 10am til time of service. Celebration of his Life led by Rev. Brent Keating will begin 11am.
