Brenda K. Dias

Brenda K. Henson Dias, 53, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 in her residence. Born February 21, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas to Dorothy and Charles Henson, she was a resident of Starks, Louisiana for the past 23 years. All of her life she spent serving in the medical field as a caregiver. She was known for her kind loving ways with her family and patients she cared for. Family and grandchildren were the sunshine of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dorothy Henson. Survivors include husband, George Russell Dias; two sons, Charles Jeremiah Henson and Brad Russell Henson; one brother, Michael Henson; two sisters, Charotte Reisner and Wilba Raye Behan; three grandchildren, Brelay Leeane O'dell, Austin Henson, and Ryan Henson. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at First Pentecostal Church of Starks. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until time of services at the church. Pastor Frasier will officiate services. Burial will be at Miller Annex Cemetery in Starks.
