Brenda Kay Bonnette

Brenda Kay Bonnette, 69, of Westlake passed away at 12:02 AM on Friday, December 04, 2015 in a local care facility.   Ms. Bonnette was born on February 22, 1946 in Lake Charles and lived all of her life in Westlake. She enjoyed playing bingo and had a huge heart for all animals especially dogs.   Those left to cherish her memory are a son, David Lonkowski (Nanette) of Moss Bluff; a daughter, Tammy Miller (Kevin) of Sulphur; four brothers, William “Bill”, Kenneth, Larry, and Guy Carter all of Kentucky; two sisters, Jeanie Cossey of Westlake and Susan Norman of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Collin Miller, and Meagan and Jacob Lonkowski; and one great grandchild, Grayson Miller;   She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and William Carter; and a grandson, David Shane Lonkowski, Jr.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the start of the services.
