Brenda Lee Boblett Benson

Brenda Lee Boblett Benson, 55, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Benson was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She worked many years as a Sterile Technician for Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and St. Patrick Hospital. She is survived by one son, Christopher John Douget and wife Amanda of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Natasha Douget Guidry and husband Parrish of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Brennon Douget, Bridgon Guidry, Connor Douget, Landon Guidry and Helena Douget; her mother, Norma Bruce Boblett of Moss Bluff; brother, Thomas Boblett and wife Belinda of Yuma, AZ; two sisters, Donna Cole and husband Brack and Eileen Arceneaux and husband John, of Moss Bluff and father of her children and friend, Keith Douget. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Westside Baptist Church in Moss Bluff. Reverend Tom Bruce will officiate. A gathering of friends will begin at 1:00 PM in the church.
