Brenda Lejeune

Brenda Kaye Carver LeJeune, 65, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 3:55 AM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in her residence.

Brenda was born April 14, 1956 in Memphis, TN and lived most of her life in Lake Charles.  She attended Barbe High School and worked retail during her younger years at Montgomery Wards, The White House and for Auto Trader.  She began a career in the medical field and worked in medical billing for MSO for the past fifteen years.  She attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.  Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren.  She always supported her family in their activities, loved her family game nights, shopping, and family vacations.  Her life was dedicated to her family; everything she did was for them and she always put them first.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Dawn Daigle and Erica LeJeune Kleven and husband Jason; grandchildren, Danika, Ava, McKenna, Emma Kleven; half-brother, Robert Lee Carver; two sisters, Tommie Ann Johnson and Cheryl Wright and husband Earl; her best friend for the past fifty-five years, Dianna Mays; and numerous other nieces, nephews, friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Annie Carver; and son, Joshua Paul LeJeune.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven.  Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at University Baptist Church on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the church from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM.
