Brenda Mouton Idlett

Mrs. Brenda Mouton Idlett, 69, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. She was born in Sweet Lake and she was a resident of Lake Charles.

Brenda was Catholic in faith. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Brenda graduated from Grand Lake High School.

She is survived by four sons, Douglas Sedlock of Moss Bluff, Steven Sedlock, Mitchell "Tootie" Sedlock, Johnny Idlett all of Lake Charles; brother, Laddy "Buddy" Mouton of Lake Charles; three sisters, Helen Wellmon of North Carolina, JoAnn Mott of Lake Charles, and Beverly Beard of Grand Lake; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Sedlock and Jason P. Sedlock; parents, Russell and Mable Derouen Mouton; two sisters, Bernadine Matt and Earline Breaux.

A memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10:30AM at St. Margaret Catholic Church. A rosary will be prayed before the Mass at 10:10AM. Cremation is entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the ICU Staff at Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Dr. Williams, and Father Brian.
