Brent Louis Andrepont

Brent Louis Andrepont, 42, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 5:36 PM on Monday, December 22, 2014 in his residence. Mr. Andrepont was born August 29, 1972 in Lake Charles, LA and was a 1992 graduate of Sulphur High School. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman. Brent worked twenty years as a paramedic for West Cal-Cam and Acadian Ambulance. He later worked as a Safety Supervisor for Shell, British Petroleum and Stokes and Spiehler Petroleum Engineering and Consulting. He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting in his earlier years and also enjoyed fishing. He will always be remembered for his strong will and joking nature; he will be missed dearly. Mr. Andrepont is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Angela Corbello Andrepont of Moss Bluff; daughter, Emma Andrepont of Moss Bluff; step-sons, Bobby Wade Hunt and wife Anna Aleisha of Lafayette and Andrew Todd Hunt of Pensacola, FL; grandchild, Lana Elise Hunt; parents, Aaron and Katherine Andrepont of Moss Bluff; brother, Kyle Andrepont of Lake Charles; grandmother, Euna Rose Bellard Andrepont of Eunice, LA; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Rae Andrepont; grandparents, Lloyd Andrepont and Farness and Dixie Luquette; and uncles, Aubrey and Nathan Andrepont and Irving Schmitz. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 26, 2014 at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Father John Huckaby and Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. A gathering of family members and friends will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM with a rosary at 11:00 AM.
