Brian Clement Lafleur

Brian LaFleur, 68, attended his 1st Astros game in Heaven on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was a lifelong Sulphur resident and attended Victory Church. Brian was a graduate of St. Louis High School and attended McNeese State University. He worked in industrial maintenance for many years before joining and later retiring from West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital.

He was an avid Houston Astros fan; he loved attending games and collecting memorabilia. Brian adored his family and enjoyed grilling for family cookouts. He would often “go antiquing” and he enjoyed traveling. He will be remembered for his “easy going” nature and his heart of gold.

Left to cherish his memory are his two children, Christina Peloquin (Lloyd) and Bob LaFleur (Mandy) all of Sulphur; six grandchildren, Kade LaFleur (Taylor), Kyle LaFleur (Alexis), Kaleb LaFleur (Julie); Kaili Richard (Collin), Kierstin Peloquin, and Alise LaFleur; and six greatgrandchildren, Parker and Maci LaFleur, Kohen and Asher LaFleur, and Kylie and Khloe Richard.  Brian was the oldest of fourteen children and his life will be celebrated by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jason LaFleur, and his parents.

Services honoring Brian’s life will be held 10AM, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home. A burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, 3PM – 8PM, and will resume Saturday at 8AM until time of service.
