Brian Douglas Smith, Sr.

Brian Douglas Smith, Sr., 53, of Lake Charles, LA died at 3:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in his residence.

Mr. Smith was born August 7, 1959 in Honolulu, HI and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked at Moss Regional Hospital for the past fifteen years and enjoyed spending time building classic cars with his friends.

Mr. Smith is survived by his sons, Brian Smith, Jr. of Ragley, LA and Benjamin Smith of Sulphur, LA; brother, Robert Lee Smith of Georgia; sister, Cynthia Smith Baxter of New Mexico; and grandchildren, Landon and Keigen Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Lee and Louella Schalipa Smith; and brother, Bruce Martin Smith.

His memorial service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the start of the service.
