Brian Kent Vidrine, 36, of Houston, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, September 28, 2014, due to complications from a automobile accident in January of 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 18, 1978 in Ville Platte Louisiana to Barbara Bourque Vidrine and Francis Kent Vidrine. He is a graduate of the School for the Deaf in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and he attended Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. He is survived by his wife, Stephani R. Hill Vidrine; two children, Ryland Kent and Kelli Ralyn Vidrine; his mother, Barbara Bourque Vidrine; father and stepmother, Francis Kent and Barbara Vidrine; His maternal grandfather, Joseph Bourque and step grandmother; sisters, Brooke, Bridget, Mandi, Tammy, and their families; and a great number of aunts, uncles, and nieces. He worked at Signal Shipyard in Orange, Texas where he was a supervisor of the Fitting Crew. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, any sports activity, and visiting with friends and family. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate services. Honorary pallbearers are, Marty Doucet, Thomas Hill, Cody Fontenot, James Anthony, Francis K. Vidrine, and Thomas Thrasher.
