Bridgett Rachel Squibb

Bridgett Rachel Squibb, 45, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 in the comfort of her friend's home.

Ms. Squibb lived most of her life in Lake Charles and was educated in San Antonio, TX. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word find, coloring, watching TV, movies and shopping. Her proudest moments were those that she won medals as a runner in the local Special Olympics. She especially loved the time she spent with her nieces and nephews. Ms. Squibb was a member of The Vineyard. She will be most remembered for having loved all people.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Norma Jean Thibodeaux and finance', Ernest Broussard (her Pappy) of Lake Charles; father, Norman LaVergne Squibb of Many, LA; three brothers, Sammy, Kenneth and Rolin; two half sisters, Kitty and Kim; maternal grandmother, Mary Lois Elliott of Lake Charles and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Jessie Newman and step-grandfather, Allen J. Elliott and paternal grandparents, LaVergne and Yomie Squibb.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kelly Vigo will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and will continue Wednesday at 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
