Brigett L. Daniels Hicks

Brigett Louise Daniels Hicks, 66, of Moss Bluff passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Daniels was a native of Oakdale, LA and was a graduate of Oakdale High School where she was voted Most Beautiful and was crowned Miss Oakdale.  She always liked dressing nice and looking like a lady.  She has lived in the Lake Charles area since 2004.  Mrs. Hicks enjoyed being a homemaker, flower gardening and shopping.  She will be remembered for her love of her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gordon Gene Hicks of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Nicole Simone Sicotte Manuel of Lake Charles; one grandson, Ricky Dwayne Willis, II of Lake Charles and one brother, Dan Lee Daniels, Jr. and wife Helen of Oberlin.  She also leaves one step-son, Mitchell Hicks and three step-daughters, Tammy, Allison and Judy Hicks, all of OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Lee Daniels, Sr. and Constance Scott Daniels.

In respect of Mrs. Hick’s wishes, her services were a private family gathering.
