Bryan L. Leblanc

November 15, 1970 — December 27, 2022

Bryan Lynn LeBlanc (affectionately called "Bayou” and “Too Cool”), 52, of Lake Charles passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 unexpectedly in his residence.

Bryan was born on November 15, 1970 in Lake Charles where he lived all of his life and was a graduate of LaGrange High School.  He began his career in carpentry in cooling towers and later became a project manager for scaffold building for numerous years. 

He was a man full of personality and intelligence with a genuine, kind heart, always willing to give to others.  If he knew you, he would check in on you periodically and never forgot your birthday.  Bryan was also known as a comical man with a humorous disposition.  He had a thirst for knowledge and would read and listen to podcasts to broaden his open mind.  Bryan was an avid Saints and LSU fan. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Justin K. LeBlanc (Alexandra Cook) of Idaho and Jason B. LeBlanc of Lake Charles; siblings, Eleesha LeBlanc of Houston, Trimicka LeBlanc of Houston, Harry J. Coward, II (Gabrielle) of Carencro, Michael Johnson of Lake Charles, Kenneth Glaspie of Lake Charles, and Todd Glaspie of Lake Charles; fiancé, Elizabeth Lemonier of Lake Charles; aunt, Priscilla Simon of Houston; aunt, Gloria McCrea of Texas City; uncle, Lester LeBlanc of Lake Charles; grandson, Cloud A. LeBlanc; Godchildren, Sydnie Johnson of Lake Charles and Harleigh Coward of Carencro; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou Victorian and John Daniel LeBlanc and a late wife, Julie Whitsitt.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel.  Pastor Barry Thomas will officiate.  Burial will follow in DeRouen-Lorraine Cemetery in Hayes, LA.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
