Bryan Ralon Alexander

July 13, 1957 — December 28, 2020

Bryan Ralon Alexander, 63, died December, 28, 2020, following a lengthy illness.

Bryan was born in Morgan City, Louisiana to Clyde Rawland and Bonnie Jean Robicheaux Alexander. In his early years, he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in the marine, oil and gas industry. Later, he owned and operated Bryan’s Furniture Store in Lake Charles for several years. He was a faithful member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and managed the maintenance of the church property until his retirement in October of 2019. Bryan enjoyed hunting and competitive shooting. He was a member of the Southwest Louisiana Rifle and Pistol Club.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 18 years, Joyce Whelchel Alexander; children, Bradley Alexander and wife Kaitlin of Mobile, Alabama and Kelly Page and husband Chris of Baton Rouge; a stepson, Steven Barousse and wife Josee of Sulphur; daughter of the heart, Deidra Doucet and husband Corey, also of Sulphur; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild and two sisters, Tracy Mixon and husband Chris and Christa Wright and husband Will, also of Sulphur.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Linda Alexander.

A Rosary will be held at 10:00 am. on January 2, 2021, followed by Mass, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sulphur. Father Luke Krzanowski will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans’ Cemetery in Jennings, Louisiana at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Simple Traditions by Johnson.
