Caden Scott Socha

"For it is written, He shall give his angels angels charge over thee, to keep thee." Luke 4:10

Caden Scott Socha, 19, departed from this life and returned home to his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2012.

Caden was born in Lake Charles and lived here all of his life. He attended Barbe High School. He was known for his vibrant personality, sense of humor, and love of life. With a single smile every stranger became a friend. With a heart so large he always found a place for everyone he met. His memory will live on in all of us.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Cindi Richard and a brother Gage Socha of Lake Charles; his father and step-mother Scott Anthony and Gina Socha of West Monroe, La.; one step-brother, Beaux Fox of West Monroe; two step-sisters Kristen Fox of West Monroe and Samantha Fox of Baton Rouge; his maternal grandparents, Lanny and Alice Richard of Lake Charles and a paternal grandmother Emily Ann Socha of West Monroe, La. He is also survived by by numerous aunts and uncles, Dawn and Freddie Rosteet, Landon and Aileen Richard, Annette and Mark Corbin, Debbie and Brian McGee, Kathy and Carl Shaft, Lynn and David Reardon as well as numerous cousins.

His grandfather Leo Socha and uncles, Jeff Socha and Ken Richard preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Kelly Vigo and Nathan Crevier will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM Monday and from 8:00 AM until service time on Tuesday.

Do not weep for me, celebrate my life for I soar with the angels.
