Calvin James Ancelet, Jr.

Calvin James Ancelet, Jr., 46, of Sulphur passed away on April 26, 2014 in his residence. James was a graduate of Parkview Baptist School and was self-employed working as a tile installer. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and was an avid movie fan. James was loved by all who knew him. James is survived by his wife, Lisha Chesson Ancelet of Sulphur; two daughters, Victoria Broussard and husband, Wade and Lauren Ancelet; 3 grandchildren; father, Calvin Ancelet, Sr.; mother of his children, Carmen Ancelet; sister, Donna Ancelet Lyons and fiancé, Robert "Rags" Gros; and a brother, Donald Ancelet and wife, Darla, He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Vincent Ancelet and a brother, Bret Ancelet. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2 pm at Parkview Baptist Church in Sulphur with Rev. Randall Chesson and Rev. Charley Watson officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the church from 4pm until 8pm with visitation resuming at 9am on Thursday until time of the service.
