Captain Wayne K. Devall, Sr.

Captain Wayne K. DeVall Sr., 63, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 in his residence. He was a native and a resident of Lake Charles.

Mr. DeVall was a Navy Veteran with two tours in Vietnam and one tour in Korea. He worked as a Boat Captain, Carpenter, and a Truck Driver with Acme Trucking.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Brenda K. DeVall; three children, Cindie Marie DeVall and fiance', Bill Klein, Ginnie Lynn Shoemake of Lake Charles, Wayne Kelly DeVall Jr. of Kinder; three step-children, Tony Guillory and wife Lorette of Lake Charles, Paul LeBleu of Lake Charles, Scott LeBleu and wife Brandi of Moss Bluff; step father, Clifford Tittle; sister, Gayle LeJeune and husband Arnold of Moss Bluff; brother of love, Greg DeVall; 12 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 5 nieces, and 2 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Simmie DeVall; mother, Beulah Tittle; two sisters, Luanne Laverne and Belinda DeVall.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2PM in Johnson Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Pujol Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10AM until time of service.
