Carl James Rempert

Carl James Rempert, 62, of Houston, TX passed away at 3:43 PM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in a hospital in Webster, TX.

Carl was born on August 14, 1959 in Lake Charles.  He was a graduate of LaGrange High School and was on the school bowling league.  Carl furthered his education at McNeese State University where he earned a degree in software engineering and was on the baseball team.  Following graduation, he moved to Houston where he currently resided.

He took pleasure in playing baseball and bowling, even in his later years.  He was an avid fantasy football player and was commissioner of a fantasy baseball league.  In his earlier years, he enjoyed mountain climbing. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Cristy Rempert of Houston; children, Melissa Elizabeth Petty (Steven), James Kyle Rempert, and Tris Ryan Rempert all of Houston; siblings, Cheryl Koster (Mike) of Katy, TX, Donna Rempert of Louisiana, and Diane Veillon (Harold) of Louisiana; and a grandson, Michael Kmetz of Santa Fe, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norma and James Rempert.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 20, 2021 in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
