Carl Vincent Sirman, 94, of Lake Charles died January 21, 2012 at The Guardian assisted living home on Country Club Rd.
Mr. Sirman was born on June 19, 1917 to John Vincent Sirman of Louisiana and Catherine Victoria Gibson of Arkansas. He Served in the Navy as a decorated veteran of WWII. Mr. Sirman later worked as an electrician at Olin Matheson. He was a long time devoted member of the University United Methodist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dorothy Dupin Sirman, his daughter, Carla Foresman and husband David Foresman of Charlottesville, VA, his niece and nephew, Mary Sirman and John Sirman, Jr. of Sulphur, LA, his grandchildren, Kelley Lollar, Ashley Sirman, Jarred Foresman and Dillon Foresman, and great grandchildren, Ty and Avery Lollar.
Mr. Sirman is preceded in death by his son, Steven Craig Sirman.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the care providers at The Guardian and Odyssey Hospice.
Vistation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on January 23,2012
5-7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until services at the church. Funeral services will be held at University United Methodist Church on January 24, 2012 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Charlie Langford will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
