Carl Theodore Schmidt, Jr

Carl Theodore Schmidt, Jr., 65, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in his Singer residence.

Before retiring Carl worked as a brick layer, cab driver and a deck hand/cook. He was known as a “jack of all trades” and would repurpose items that his mom would find.  He enjoyed planting a yearly garden, being outdoors, listening to music, and especially loved to bar-b-que. He always had a pot of coffee ready.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Della Stuckey of Sulphur; siblings, Louise Gardner, Victor Schmidt, and Jamie Ashworth.  He was preceded in death by five siblings, Mark Schmidt, Carol Schmidt Thibodeaux, Debra Schmidt, Williams Chamberlain and Adolf Bryon Schmidt.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Antioch Cemetery of Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Brandon Melville will officiate the services.
