Carla Hymel

Carla Ann Buller Hymel, 68, of Lake Charles, LA passed away on March 7, 2025 due to complications of ALS. Carla was born August 18, 1956 in Sulphur, LA, the daughter of Delores Vincent Buller & Charlie Buller, Jr.

Carla graduated from Westlake High School in 1974, then went on to McNeese State University, earning a degree in Business Education. She worked as a dental assistant for 40 years alongside her brothers, Dr. Charlie Buller, III and Andy Buller.

Remaining to cherish Carla's memory are her husband, Bryan Hymel; her children, Deanna Miller Brimmage (Casey), Brandon Hymel (Rikki Jo); her grandchildren, Meredith & Mia Brimmage and Sylar & Myles Hymel; her mother, Delores Buller; her siblings, Tony Buller (Kathy), Charlie Buller (Lisa), Ted Buller (Vanessa), Andy Buller (Lorraine) and Jennifer Gibbs (Ricky), along with her cherished nieces and nephews.

Preceding Carla in death are her first husband, Glenn Adam Miller, & her father, Charlie Buller, Jr.

Friends and family will gather from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Chapel, 4321 Lake St. Carla's eulogy and a time of sharing memories will begin at 5:00 PM.
