Carlton Estillette

Carlton Estillette, 69, of Lake Charles, LA died at 2:17 PM on Monday, January 21, 2013 in a local hospital.


Mr. Estillette was born September 19, 1943 in Lake Charles, LA, where he was a live long resident. He attended LaGrange High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years at Pioneer Credit, where he retired five years ago. Mr. Estillette attended Christ the King Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping, horses, and working on cars and motorcycles and loved playing his harmonica.


Mr. Estillette is survived by his wife of fifty years, Aline Monceaux Estillette; daughter, Jessica E. McGee and husband Howard of Sulphur; sons, Chadwich J. Estillette and wife Jessica and Chauncey P. Estillette and wife Nedria; brother, Huey Estilette and wife Norma Jean; sisters, Janel Richard and husband R. J. and Shirley Pulver and husband Phil, all of Lake Charles; former daughter-in-law, Alesia LeBoeuf and husband James of Houston, TX; best friend, Aubrey Lee Welch; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew Ryan Estillette; parents, Horrina and Viola Estillette; two sisters; one brother; and a close friend, Phillip St. Romain.


His funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
