Carmen Marie Landry, 96 of Sulphur passed away on December 14, 2012 in her residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Edward Richard officiating. Burial will be in Nibletts Bluff Cemetery in Vinton under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. " 8 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and will resume on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 8 a.m. until time of service. Carmen was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Erlene Pousson and husband, LeeRoy of Sulphur; son, Joseph Walton Landry Jr. and wife, Debra of Sulphur; step-daughters, Walterene Tharp of Newton, TX, Emily Stewart of Winnsboro, LA and Lauralee Simon of Conroe, TX; 6 grandsons, Leonard, Darrell, Bryan and David OQuain and David and Blayne Landry all of Sulphur; 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walton Landry Sr. and a brother, Nevile Lopez.
