Carol Ann Watson

Carol Ann Watson, 88, passed away on July 26, 2023 while residing at Sage Oak in Lake Charles, LA.

Carol was born on Christmas Day in 1934, in Lafayette, LA to Hilda Martin and Willis P. LeBlanc, Sr. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School who served as a rodeo queen. She participated in many social activities such as Red Hat Society, 12th Night Revelers, Mardi Gras of SWLA, Cajun French Music association, and loved playing cards with her friends every week.

Carol is survived by her son, Michael Watson (Judy).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Watson, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Watson; son, Brian Earl Watson; and her parents.

Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. Monsignor Harry Greig will officiate. Burial will take place in Consolata Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited Monday at 12:00 p.m.
