Lolita Carol LaCasse Madden, 76, of Lake Charles, LA, gained her angel wings on Friday, January 5, 2018 in her residence.
Mrs. Madden was born October 5, 1941 in Iota, LA and lived in Lake Charles most of her life. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School and retired twelve years ago from Women and Children’s Hospital, where she worked in the Business office. She enjoyed cooking, listening to French music, and dancing, but especially loved shopping. Her true passion in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Madden is survived by her children, Randy Rayon and wife Karen of Lake Charles, Angela Rayon Duhon and husband Gary of Lake Charles, and Tammy Lynn Theriot of Egan, LA; sisters, Connie Taylor and Cynthia Walker and husband Benny, all of Lake Charles; best-friend since childhood, Barbara Young of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Ashley, Callie, Danielle, Dustin, Devon, Dylan, Darin, Alexis, Brennan, and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Aubrey, Jonah and Austyn, who is on-the-way; and her beloved dog, Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Paul Madden; parents, George and Lorraine LaCasse; Randy and Angela’s father, Larry Rayon; and great-grandchild, Telitha.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Friday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
