Carol Marie Hewitt

Carol Marie Hewitt, 79, of Sulphur passed away on January 27, 2016 in a local hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur. Carol enjoyed sewing and making quilts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and drinking coffee with her friends.

Carol is survived by her son, Ricky Venable; her daughter, Debbie Rising both of Sulphur; her four grandchildren, Gina and Elizabeth Rising and Brian and Kayla Venable. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Hewitt and Presley Venable; and her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Ernie Corriveau, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5-9 P.M. with a rosary at 7 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 8 A.M. until time of leaving for the church.
