Carole Lea "Sue" Lambert, 72, of Edmond, Oklahoma went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:09 AM. Mrs. Lambert was born on March 9, 1941 to the parents of Vergie and Clyde Herman Nash Sr. in Bunkie, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Bunkie High School. After graduation she graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in education. She worked as a school teacher and a school librarian in Calcasieu Parish for many years. She was a member of Lakewood Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgie Marie McCoy and Herman Clyde McCoy Sr., many aunts, uncles and loved one who greeted her in Heaven. Mrs. Lambert is survived by her brother, Herman Clyde McCoy, Jr., and wife Judy of Ringling, Oklahoma, nephews, Tim and Chad McCoy and wife Vonda of Oklahoma, nieces, Mitzi Best from Texas, Brook Snodgrass and Courtney McCoy of Oklahoma, and many beloved great nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev's. Richard Beckham and John Hoffpauir will be the celebrants. Burial will be in Bunkie, Louisiana at Pyphian Cemetery at 3:00 PM. Visitation will begin on Friday at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue at 8:00 AM on Saturday until the time of services. Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at www.johnsonfuneralhome.net.
