Carolyn Ann Breaux

Carolyn Ann Breaux, 75 of Lake Charles, LA was called home January 26, 2021.

Carolyn was one of four children born to John and Helen Seymour, she was born in Port Arthur,TX.

Shortly after graduation from Sabine Pass School, Class of 1964 she relocated to Lake Charles and began working at LeBlanc Café. It was here she would meet Harry James Breaux, after two years of courting they exchanged vows at Methodist Church of Sabine Pass on January 1, 1966. Together welcoming one daughter, Stacie Ann.

She was employed with Calcasieu Parish School Board as a bus driver for 26 years and also served as Hostess at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff for 15 years. The things she was most proud of the strength in her faith and the love of her family, as a mother for 49 years, MeeMaw for 27 years and a great grandmother for 3 years.

“MeeMaw” as she was affectionately know by everyone possessed a giving spirit that had no bounds. She gave from her heart anytime she could, was always eager to share why it was important to have a relationship with the Lord. She always had a way to make you smile & laugh with her gentle spirit and was always asking to pray with you and for you.If she was not devoting time with her family, she would be found writing prayers and poems, and painting.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her husband of 16 years, Harry James Breaux and her Father John Earl Seymour.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stacie Ann (Tony) Lebato; her grandchildren, Karlie Lebato, Evan Lebato and fiancée Madison Malone, and Ryan Lebato; her great grandchildren, Abigaile Jameson and Lance Jameson; her mother Helen Mae Seymour; siblings, Joey (Bertha) Seymour, Marie Morales, Byron (Lorrie) Seymour; nieces and nephews, Amanda Seymour, Ceasar Morales, Kara Seymoour, Kaston Seymour.

For the health and safety of friends and family, the family asks you wear masks and respect social distance precautions. The family will welcome friends at First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff on Sunday, January 31, 2021 beginning at 4pm to 6pm. Visitation will resume Monday, February 1, beginning at 11am. A funeral service will begin 1pm led by Pastor Billy Saxby under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Prien Memory Gardens.
