Carolyn Frances Terro Johnson

January 28, 1956 — January 15, 2022

Mrs. Carolyn Terro Johnson, 65, of Sulphur, LA passed away January 15, 2022, in her residence.

She was born in Lafayette Parish and lived most of her life in Sulphur. She worked as a School Bus Driver with the Calcasieu Parish School Board and enjoyed her job very much.  The greatest joy in her life was her kids and grandkids.

Although Carolyn fought a short battle with cancer in the physical body, it never got her down or changed her outlook on life as she continued to be the stronghold for our family.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Kenward Johnson of Carlyss; children, Tobin Courville and fiancée Kim of Eunice, Joshua Courville, Jenilee Courville, Justin Courville and wife Brandi, and Dustin Johnson all of Carlyss; ten grandchildren, Dylan Campbell, Layken Singleton, Jade DeBarge, Maci Morgan, Madison Singleton, Kindelle McBride, Kaitlyn Morgan, Jaycee Courville, Avery Courville, and Caster Singleton; three great grandchildren, Presley, Josie, and Pierce; siblings, Barbara, Dale, and Doug Terro all of Sulphur. She is also survived by the father of her children, Lee Courville of Carylss.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lala and Buford Terro, and her brother, Robert Terro.

Her Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in the Johnson and Robison Chapel. Bro. Roland “Pop” Hebert will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of service, Tuesday, in the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to Christus Hospice and Palletive Care, Melissa Smith, RN, Keissa Brolon, Candice McGee, Chaplin Chris Davy and Felicia Stark, RN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
