Carolyn Hansen

Carolyn Hansen, 64, of Lake Charles, La died Thursday, November 6, 2014 in a local hospital. Carolyn was born on September 4, 1950 in Providence, RI to Marion Huntress and step father Ronald Huntress. She loved knitting, reading, and working puzzles. She was a lady with a big heart for giving to the less fortunate. She loved being of any help to people. Every day was a joyful day in her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Hansen; one sister, Donna; One daughter, Tammy- Sue Dudek ; stepfather, Ronald Huntressl; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marion. Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, November 10, 2014 at New Life Worship Center in Moss Bluff. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Kratzer will officiate.
