Carolyn Sue Madden Richard

Carolyn Sue Madden Richard 70years old, passed away on June 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 14,1953 to James and Archie Cobb Madden in Victorville, California on the Geroge Air Force Base.

Carolyn’s greatest joy in life was her family. Her memory will be cherished forever by her family, her students, and her friends. She pursued teaching as her life’s passion. Carolyn loved drawing, sketching those around her, and studying the work of God.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 51years, Gary Richard, her daughter: Celesta Richard-Lormand and husband Kenneth, her mother; Archie Sue Cobb, her siblings; James Madden and wife Becky, Billy Madden and wife Melissa, Celesta McDonald and husband Brian, Teresea Madden-Thompson and husband William, Shane Madden and wife Antonia, nieces: Ashley Madden, Brittney Madden-Faulk and husband Brandon, Tara Madden-Corley and husband Clint, and  Sharron Madden-Hopper and husband Michael.

She is preceded in death by her father James Madden, sister; Edwinna Madden, niece; Crustal Crews, and Great-Nephew; Ian Hopper.

The family will welcome the public on Tuesday, July 02, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, LA. Visitation will continue at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, LA on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. The funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Wednesday, July 03, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens following the service.
