Carroll Joseph Comeaux

Carroll Joseph Comeaux, 73, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 5:40 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2020 in a local hospital.

Mr. Comeaux was born September 18, 1946 in Creole, LA and was a graduate of South Cameron High School.  He worked twelve years for Firestone and then retired after over twenty years of service from the City of Lake Charles, where he worked as a foreman at the wastewater plant.  During his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing on his family property in Cameron.  He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, working cows and spending time with his friends.  He loved life and enjoyed having a good time.

Mr. Comeaux is survived by his sons, Greg Comeaux and wife Melissa and Ronnie Comeaux and wife Christa; step-daughters, Bethany Breaux and fiancée Jeff Savoie and Sarah Thomas and husband Kevin; grandchildren, John Comeaux, Kelby Comeaux, Kristen Comeaux, Trenton Comeaux, Evan Comeaux, Cameron Comeaux, and Trey Comeaux; and his beloved dog, Boudin, II.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Paula Comeaux; second wife, Terri Lynn Rougeau Comeaux; recent fiancée, Rose Breaux; and his parents, Ulisse and Vernie Comeaux.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Highland Cemetery.
