Catherine Camille Dudoit

Catherine Camille Dudoit, died surrounded by her family on July 21, 2015. Catherine was born on September 24, 1943 in Vinton. She was the daughter of Juanita (Langley) and Donald Moyer and was one of six siblings. Prior to working as one of the first woman millwright at the plants, she owned a tax preparation business and completed cosmetology school. Catherine was known for giving generously to help others. She could build, fix, or make just about anything. Catherine is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 33 years, Gene Dudoit, of Sulphur. She dedicated her life to her children, Nathan Michael Scalisi and wife Terri, Gina Scalisi Shaw and husband Richard, and Amy Lynn Scalisi Sarver and husband Greg; she leaves to cherish her memory, 4 precious step-children, Corey Dudoit Fontenot and wife Andrea of Colorado Springs, CO, Christopher Dudoit and wife Heidi, Carrie Dudoit Fontenot and husband Judah, Callie Dudoit Karschnick and husband Mark of Colorado Springs, CO; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her sisters, Ruth Marie Vincent, Jerrie Ann Benoit and Francis Thibodeaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Edith Faye Kennedy and her brother, Pat Moyer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel of Sulphur. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 10 A.M. with a rosary at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home until time of the service.
