Catherine Mcdonnell Thibodeaux

Catherine McDonnell Thibodeaux, 66 of Lake Charles passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 in her residence.

Ms. Thibodeaux was born on July 25, 1951 in Lake Charles where she lived all of her life and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. She furthered her education with an associate’s degree in business at Delta Technical School.

Some of her favorite things included spending time with her kids, grandkids, and sisters, as well as working in her yard, knitting with her friends, watching soccer, and traveling. Her presence in her loved ones’ lives was cherished and meaningful and she will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Melissa Ann Thibodeaux and Christopher Dale Thibodeaux (Amanda); sisters, Patricia Hardin (Kenneth) and Myra McDonnell; brother, Kenneth McDonnell (Suzanne); and four grandchildren, Hannah, Natalie, Abigail, and Landon Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby McDonnell.

In honor of her memory a private gathering will be held for family and friends. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
