Cavelyn L. Guillory

Cavelyn L. Guillory, 77, of Lake Charles, LA died at 1:33 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Guillory was born December 22, 1933 in Turkey Creek, LA and has lived in Lake Charles since 1953. She was pioneer member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and was an avid reader. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was the perfect example of a person and a parent and passed this on to her family. She will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Guillory is survived by her sons, Tom Guillory and wife Becky of Seabrook, TX and Robert Guillory and wife Anita of Lake Charles; daughter, Nancy Guillory of Lake Charles; sister, Doris Gobert of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Herbert Guillory and daughter, Janet Guillory.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Deacon George Carr will officiate.
