Charlee Grace Faulkner

Charlee Grace Faulkner was born on April 25, 2022 to Shaun P. Faulkner and Lauren P. Battles-Faulkner, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. On May 3, 2022 Charlee was surrounded by her loving family as she passed gently in the arms of Jesus at Ochsner Health Center for Children in New Orleans.

Though her time with her family was short, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around her. Her family cherishes her memory as the brief gift that it was.

Charlee was preceded in death by her brother, Blayne Faulkner; paternal grandfather, Johnny Faulkner; maternal grandfather, Christopher Battles; aunt, Tina Burks and paternal great grandparents, Willie and Fannie Burks.

She is survived by her parents, Shaun Paul Faulkner and Lauren Paige Battles-Faulkner; sister, Avery Faulkner, all of Orange, TX; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, Michelle and Glenn Mott of Moss Bluff; paternal grandmother, Rena Faulkner of DeRidder; maternal great grandparents, Barry and Nancy Lee of Iowa; step maternal great grandparents, Buddy and Judy Mott of Iowa; godparents, Justin and Amber Higginbotham of Ragley, aunt; Sara Fresh; uncles, Taylor Battles, John Faulkner, Kyle Faulkner and Jason Fresh; great aunts and uncles, Codie (Dustin) Guidry, Deke (Joe) Rogers and Danelle (Brad) Ardoin, along with numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation Friday will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Reverend Marcus Wade of Christian Life Church of Sulphur will officiate. Interment services will follow at Goos Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
