Charles Austin Wooldridge

Charles Austin Wooldridge, 79, of Hackberry, LA passed away on June 17, 2024. Charles was born on June 12, 1945, to Charles and Evelyn Wooldridge in Xenia Ohio. Charles loved fishing, Saturday morning cartoons, and being around family and friends. He also cherished his time while attending church in Indiana and here at Calvary Baptist Church in Sulphur. He was a very generous man and would give you the shirt off his back. Charles was a great man that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He also worked at Northrup Gruman in fabrication for 20 years. Charles dearly loved his two dogs Susie and Daisy.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving children, Rhonda Kiser and husband Clay, Fred Wooldridge and wife Eve, and Charles Wooldridge and partner Molly Smith; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; three siblings, Sue Fischer, Sam Wooldridge, and Conn Wooldridge.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 plus years, Sheryl Wooldridge and one son, Anthony Wooldridge.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.

Place of rest will be at Hackberry Community Cemetery in Hackberry, LA.
