Charles Buster Olsen, Jr. Funeral services for Mr. Charles Buster Olsen, Jr., 83, of Carlyss, will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, Carlyss. Father Thomas Vellappallil will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss, under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, June 4th from 5pm " 9pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm in Robison Funeral Home, and resume Saturday, June 5th from 8am " until time of precession to the church. Mr. Olsen passed away on Wednesday evening surrounded by his loving family. He was met at the gates of Heaven by his Parents: Charles Sr. & Vicello Olsen; 3 Brothers and 5 Sisters. Mr. Olsen was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss where he played music for 40 years. He was a consument guitarist and played with several professional artist throughout his career. Mr. Olsen retired from Cities Service where he worked as a carpenter. He loved to travel and play his music. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Mrs. Gertie Olsen, of Carlyss; Son: Jodey Olsen, Sulphur; Daughter: Renee Gray, Carlyss;8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren along with a host of other family & friends.
