Charles "Chuck" Earl Smith, 58 of Sulphur passed away on January 19, 2015 in M.D. Anderson. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur. Chuck loved to fish and hunt. He served his country in the U S Army. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Chuck is survived by his wife of 27 years, Denise Smith of Sulphur; his two daughters, Mallory S. Pack and husband Nick A. Pack and Emily R. Smith all of Sulphur; his three brothers, Dwain Smith and wife Pam, James M. Labove and wife Ranelle all of Sulphur, and Tensey G. Pricer and wife Michelle of Baton Rouge; a sister, Tammy S. Cormier of Sulphur; his godson, Brayton Grow of New Iberia; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Smith and Betty M. Pricer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur with Monsignor Charles Dubois officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery North in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 4-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. followed by a Cursillo Rosary at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 8 A.M. until time of service.
