Charles F. Maas

Charles F. Maas, 83, of Lake Charles, LA died at 8:15 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in a local care facility. Mr. Maas was born December 4, 1930 and retired from the U.S. Navy after serving over twenty years. He was a longtime resident of Holland, MI before moving to Lake Charles eight years ago. Mr. Maas is survived by his daughters, Laurie LaBauve and husband Bob of Lake Charles and Linda Daigle of Lake Charles and Tim Daigle of Ragley; sister, Linda Drooger and husband Dave of Holland, MI; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren and one on-the-way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Alvina Maas; brother, Theodore Maas; grandchild, Amber Maas and great-grandchild, Justin Maas. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, September 29th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Laurie and Bob's home.
