Charles Charlie Hall, 73, of Sulphur died at 7:55 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in his residence. Mr. Hall was born on February 4, 1940 in Gatesville, TX. He was raised in Lubbock, TX and was a graduate of Lubbock High School. Mr. Hall received his business degree from Texas Technical Institute where he pledged into the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Several years later he met his wife while residing in Houston where their two children were later born. The family then moved to Sulphur in 1989. Mr. Hall retired following a career in industrial sales. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Mr. Hall was a dedicated husband and father who adored and dearly loved his family. He will be remembered for his kind personality. Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 36 years, Debbie Willett Hall of Sulphur; a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Hall Merchan of League City, TX; a son, Christopher Shane Hall of Lake Charles; a brother, Ronald Wilson Hall of Kingsland, TX; and two adorable granddaughters, Isabella and Eva Merchan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredda Pauline and Woodrow Wilson Hall. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Hall residence.
