Charles Virgil LeBleu, 83, of Sweetlake, LA, died at 12:37 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.
Mr. LeBleu was born September 16, 1928 in Houston, TX and was raised and lived most of his life in Sweetlake, LA. He was the owner / operator of LeBleu's Dairy for a number of years and worked as a roughneck in the oil field industry. Mr. LeBleu also worked road maintenance for the Cameron Parish Highway Department, where he retired. He was raised a member of the Catholic faith and loved riding horses and working cattle.
Mr. LeBleu is survived by his daughters, Marlena Boyles and husband James of Grand Saline, TX and Pam Shepherd and husband Thomas of Lake Charles; sister, Billie Fruge and husband J. D. of Bell City; close friend, Mabel Thibodeaux of Sulphur, LA; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Eloise Bourriaque LeBleu.
His memorial service will be 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial of his ashes will be at Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service with a rosary at 2:00 PM.
