Charlotte Renee Picard

Charlotte Renee Picard, 64, of Sulphur, passed peacefully from this life surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Charlotte loved cooking and like all good cooks she loved feeding people who came by her house. Always a straight shooter, she never held back saying her piece to you but never failed to feed you afterward. She was a tough but loving mother to all her children’s friends and those closest to the family all knew what the “Goose Paddle” was. Charlotte liked going to the American Legion, dancing, karaoke (watching), and listening to her country or zydeco music. She was a BIG New Orleans Saints fan. Charlotte loved her grandbabies the most, quite possibly more than she loved her own children!

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles J. Doyle Sr., Aaron L. Doyle, Mandy R. Landry, Tabatha N. Tyler (Jermaine), Felisha R. Landry (David Whitmire), Aire A. Landry, Billy J. Landry (Brittany), Natalie K. Landry, Scott D. Picard, Jaysun A. Picard, Shanea K. Picard; 37 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph D. and Eldine M. Tomplait; brothers, Daniel Tomplait, Gregory Tomplait Sr.; husband Gerald Picard; grandson, Devin Conley.

A memorial service to honor Charlotte will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 12 PM. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10 AM until time of service.
