Cheryl Ann Stevenson Wright

Cheryl Ann Stevenson Wright, 65, of Lake Charles passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 in the comfort of her home. Mrs. Wright was born in Orange, TX and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She was a 1968 graduate of Marion High School, worked many years for Gulf National Bank and Chambers and Associates. During her younger years, Mrs. Wright enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. She will be most remembered for her kind heart and love for animals. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of twenty-eight years, Fred Wright of Lake Charles; step daughter, Jessica Antley of Houma; step-granddaughter, Rowan Elise Burke o Houma; sister, Rita Kay Bird and husband Tom of MI; aunt, Evelyn Hughes of Orange, TX; brother-in-law, Tom Kersch and wife Pat of Lake Charles; three nieces, Dany Lynn Guillory of MI, Kaycee Kersch of Lafayette and Allyson Kersch Johnson of Corpus Christi, TX and one nephew Steve Guillory of MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Naomi Stevenson. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 15, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brian Miller will officiate. Gathering of friends Friday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
