Funeral services for Mr. Chester Anderson, 83, of Sulphur, will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. W. T. Darnell will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery, Edglery. Visitation will begin on Friday, January 21st from 4pm " 9pm and resume on Saturday, Jan. 22nd from 8am " until time of service. Mr. Anderson passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his loving Wife of 44 years, Margurite Elaine Anderson; 1 daughter: Frances Beasley; and brother: Charles F. Anderson, Jr. Mr. Anderson served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was a member of Houston River Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge 424 of Sulphur, the Scottish Rite Bodies of Lake Charles, the Habbi Shriners of Lake Charles and the VFW of Toledo Village, in Burkville, Tx. He worked for Citgo for over 30 years as a Boilermaker and Supervisor. Mr. Anderson is survived by 2 sons: David Chester Anderson and wife Cindy, and Bryon Keith Anderson and wife Angie all of Sulphur; 1 brother: J. A. Anderson and wife Julie of Melburne, Florida; 3 sisters: Peggy Ann Halstrom of Sulphur, Frankie Lanzaloco and husband Ken of Sulphur, and Sarah Manuel and husband Robert of Lake Charles; 6 grandchildren: Stacy Hebert, Brad Beasley, Janice Pullen, Aaron Anderson, Kelly Anderson and Christy Johns; 8 great grandchildren: Morgan Hebert, Kendal Hebert, Anthoni Beasley, Jackson Pullen, Landon Beasley, Tyler Pullen, Kruz Anderson and Riley; and his companion Juanita Lightfoot.
