Chester "Chet" Barrilleaux

Chester “Chet” Barrilleaux, 60, passed away June 17, 2016 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer.  He took his final ride Friday night.  He traded his Harley wings for his Heavenly wings. 

Chet retired from Targa Resources as a pipeline technician after 27 years.  His passion was riding his Harley whom he called Black Beauty with his Harley brothers.  Chet loved to go to car shows with his 1965 Chevy pickup truck.  Chet will be remembered as a loving son, dad, brother, poppy to his grandchildren and companion “Angel”, Catherine Cooper. 

Chet is survived by his father, Melvin; his children, Tiffany Meador, Dustin and Hunter Barrilleaux; his sister, Rhonda Hood; his brother, David Barrilleaux and companion, Bridgit Alexander; his son in law, Cody Meador; 3 grandchildren, Brylee, Brody and Brynn; his sister in law, Lynn Barrilleaux; mother of his children, Missy Duhon; mother in law, Jewell Duhon and numerous nieces and nephews.  Chet was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Barrilleaux; two brothers, Jerry and Randall Barrilleaux and his father in law, Billy Duhon. 

Services for Chet will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Bourque officiating.  Burial will follow at Mimosa Pine North.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 5-9 pm and will resume on Monday from 9 am until the time of service.
