Chester Lee Joseph Duhon

Chester Lee Joseph Duhon, 66, of Moss Bluff passed away at 5:09 PM on Friday, November 4, 2022 in his residence.

Mr. Duhon was born on February 26, 1956 in Crowley where he lived until moving to Moss Bluff at the age of 10.  He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School.  Mr. Duhon worked for the Lake Charles Fire Department until retirement. 

In his spare time he enjoyed hunting but mostly spending quality time with his family.  He also enjoyed photography. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Michelle Richard (Buck), Audrey Stelly (Jonathan), and Ginger Trahan (Robby); his mom, Oliva Evans; his siblings, Kenneth Duhon (Belinda), Dede McDowell (Richard), and Nita Duhon; grandchildren, Gregory, Caleb, and Sammantha Richard, Danielle McDaniel (Bailey), Gabe Hadley, Bryan Weldon, Carder Trahan, MJ Richard, and Dominick Trahan; great grandchildren, Makaila Richard, Easton McDaniel, and soon to be, Remy McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gayleen Duhon; son, Patrick Hadley; father, Louvie Duhon; and brother, Bryan Duhon.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff.  The Rev. Eric Foshee will officiate.  A gathering will begin at 4:00 PM and continue until the start of the service.
